Hello
You are now currently reading the first post on Delayed Finality: The Blog. For those of you who are new to the DF world, welcome. For those of you who are not, you're probably wondering why this account has been set up on Blogger. Well, it is here to replace the MySpace profile, because MySpace has dwindled in the battle of the Social Networking sites. It seems that Facebook has killed the MySpace star. Actually, to be brutally honest, all of us members have forgotten the password to the MySpace account and so rather than panic as to what it was, this rather neat and jazzy Blogger blog has been set up. If you remember (if you can remember MySpace at all), we used to use that as core information centre to get important news and facts to you and you could read them when and how you liked. That is really what this is, here and now; a main centre point for easy access. Simple. Also on MySpace, we used the bulletin function quite frequently too. Now, since Blogger doesn't have a bulletin board like MySpace (thank heavens), we'll use our Facebook profile status updates as well as this. Hopefully this and Facebook will work together in perfect harmony, like an orchestra.
As for MySpace - seeing that we can't delete it - we're going to have to keep it up and running, so you can still listen to all our "profile-only" demo's and look at all our pictures (we have them all backed up so they're not lost) from over the years, however they're won't be any updates and it may end up disappearing. Luckily, the password to the YouTube and Photobucket accounts weren't forgotten so they aren't going anywhere.
So, you know that this account is a replacement but what is it actually for? What will appear here? Put simply into a list:
Song information - A quick roundup of some of the songs
Gig information - Where we've played live (now called Caught Live)
News/Updates - Self explanatory, really
Pictures (occasionally) - We'll put up some pictures and maybe some explanation of what is going on it
Video posts - Because no doubt, you'll like to see what's going on as well as reading about it
This blog will hopefully be used to its full potential, and with songs being recorded at the moment, we'll guide you and everyone else through this Delayed Finality adventure...
Keep your eyes peeled!
